Settled in his native hamlet, the Bernard Palissy museum shows the life and work of the Renaissance's savant.
Listed Historical Monument, Saint-Avit medieval hamlet, with its ochre and rosy colors, is a real pleasure for your viewing. A walk in the only street of the hamlet allows you to discover remains of a rich past: Middle-Age boutiques' stalls, Renaissance mullion/transom windows and a Roman church.
