Once upon a time, in the beginning of last century, a little land in the Causse, which produced a quality wine, the Thézac-Perricard. Its aroma as subtle as spiced, charmed some of the greatest men: Napoléon the 3rd, Armand Fallières (a former President of the Republic) or the Czar Nicolas the 2nd, who loved it so much that he gave it his name. Today, some great food critics still think this wine is "pleasant and appealing".
The wine-grower produces it and sells it, red or rosé.
Tasting and free guided tours on a horse-carriage ride on Tuesdays from July 15th to August 31st, at 4pm.
You can find some Vin du Tsar wine in the Brelan's Assiette de Pays (in Anthé); at the "Animations gourmandes" in Fumel, or the evening markets of Tournon d'Agenais and Villeneuve-sur-Lot on Friday evenings, during summer.

Open all year long: - from January till June and from September till December, Monday from 2 pm till 6 pm and from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.15 am till 12.15 am and from 2 pm till 6 pm, - July and August, on Monday from 2 pm till 7 pm and from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.15 am till 12.15 am and from 2 pm till 7 pm, as well as every Sunday from July 15th till August 31st, from 3 pm till 6 pm. Tuesdays (and on Thursdays in the demand) of July and August from 4pm in the wine storehouse and on reservation, stroll in carriage in vineyards with Joël of the Harnesses of the Czar (from 4 to 6 people on the carriage, approximately 15 mn) + visit wine storehouses (wine making and barrels).
