Created in 1985 under the patronage of Bernard Palissy, the Saint-Avit Pottery Fair has become one of the most important in the greater South-West.
Thirty-five ceramists, selected by a committee on the quality of work, offer their creations to the public in the hamlet. The choice of exhibitors allows to present a broad panorama of contemporary ceramic creation.
Since 1998, a specialized jury has awarded the Palissy Prize there. The winner's masterpiece is bought by the museum and enters its collection. Exhibition in the church.
